Jamie Cocca, Sophia Morone and Lydia Ware competed at the NYSPHSAA Track & Field Championships on June 7-8 at Middletown High School.
In the Division I meet, Cocca placed second in the Discus with a throw of 159-0 and fourth in the Shot Put with a toss of 55-4 ¾. He advanced to the Federation championships in the Discus and finished fifth with a 159-3 mark.
Both Morone and Ware competed in the 200-meter run in Division I. Morone placed 11th overall with a time of 22.77 seconds while Ware came in 14th at 26.21.
