PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE VIDEO FOR NEWS10
Unfortunately we faced some technical difficulties with our filming of the Pledge of Allegiance for News10ABC last week. On the positive side, we have a chance to do an even better job filming the Pledge and having our grade levels filmed in different locations on our beautiful school grounds and facilities. We will use Morning Meeting activity time to film Grade 8 on Wednesday, Grade 7 on Thursday and Grade 8 on Friday, weather permitting outside at announced locations. This was a great team building activity the other day during our Warrior Way Assembly and we look forward to trying it again as grade level groups as we spotlight our great school community on News10. Thank you again for you support.
AMS CLUB FAIR – THURSDAY, OCTOBER 10
The AMS Club Fair will take place on Thursday, October 10 during lunches. Students are encouraged to check out the many clubs and activities that will be represented at the Club Fair to learn more about how to get involved.

APO – THREE EASY WAYS TO HELP!
With our new school year kicking off, please remember that there are three easy ways to help our APO raise money! First, consider using smile.amazon.com when purchasing through Amazon – Algonquin Parent Organization can be set as your selected charity (your login information will be the same as amazon.com). It is simple to set-up and you can save it right to your account! Also, Box Tops are changing! No more clipping and sending in with students (which inevitably get lost in their backpack). Please consider downloading the Box Tops for Education app to your phone, create a simple account, and then just scan receipts! You will again be asked to select your school to support – Algonquin is out there and ready to roll. It’s very easy, and every little bit counts! (See the attached document for additional help. Please reach out to Karen Juneau if you have any questions. KarenJuneau@aim.com) Last but not least, we are always happy to have families donate directly to APO via PayPal using ams.parentorg@yahoo.com
SAND LAKE CENTER FOR THE ARTS AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMMING:
