Arts Letters & Numbers presents Voices in the Woods, a workshop for Averill Park Central School District students using photography to explore indoor and outdoor spaces.
The workshop runs from Oct. 1 through Nov. 19 on Tuesdays from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Arts Letters & Numbers, located at 1548 Burden Lake Road in Averill Park.
This workshop is presented in connection with a New York state grant through The Arts Center in Troy. Students are utilizing whatever technology they have, such as a cell phone, point-and-shoot digital camera or a DSLR camera.
The hope is to give students an authentic artistic experience with a focus on interpretation, open-ended assignments and exposure to a large artist community.
Participating students include Fiona Carroll, Makayla DeJulio, Alexander Heap, Samantha Hubbard, Augustin Johnson, Emily Kainer, Delaney King, Jaiden Magill, Natalia Phelen, Rebecca St. Germain, Ryan Therrien, Anastasia Valenti, Emily Woods and Fabiola Rodriguez-Borrero.
