Girls Soccer Advances to Section II, Class A Final

Averill Park pulled off the upset on Monday, defeating Queensbury 5-1 in the Section II, Class A girls varsity soccer semifinals.

Julia Hanlon, Brigid Clark, Syd Haskin, Lydia Ware and Bryanna Swinson each scored a goal in the winning effort.

Averill Park faces No. 1 seed Mohonasen (18-0) on Friday at Lansingburgh HS for the championship at 6:30 p.m.
