Fifth grade students at West Sand Lake Elementary School had a wonderful time trying new foods and making yarn dolls at the Esperanza rising party with Mrs.Beck!
Esperanza Rising is a book about a princess in Mexico who dreamed about her big Quinceañeras party which would be held in two years when she turned 15. When tragedy struck, her family became farmers, moved to California and Esperanza struggled to fit in.
