Poestenkill Elementary School students were excited to kick off a new program this week called “Try It Tuesday”!
On Tuesday, students that purchased school lunch were able to try a new menu item, Chickpea Salad, and vote on whether or not they liked it and want to have it again! The ballot boxes were decorated in green and red — green meaning “Go!” and red meaning “No!”
After a very exciting lunch period, the first day resulted in a tie! We are excited to continue next week, when we will introduce Mrs. Jenn’s Cucumber Salad!
