News anchor and author, John Gray, visited Poestenkill Elementary School on Friday morning to read his latest book “Keller’s Heart”.
The story is about two special friends, a girl and a fluffy dog, who rescue each other. John’s message reinforced being accepting of each other and appreciating the unique qualities of others.
The PES K-Kids service learning students presented a $430 check, dog/cat toys and doggy treats to representatives from the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society. These donations were the result of lots of hard work by our students.
