Governor Andrew M. Cuomo announced today that there will be no in-person summer school this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instruction will be done remotely, as it has over the course of the past few months.
The state is expected to issue guidance in June about the opening of schools in the fall. School districts must submit reopening plans to the state by July. We will continue to communicate information as it becomes available.
In the meantime, Averill Park Central School District will continue to provide food service for all students and childcare for essential workers.
