Parents / Guardians,
So much has changed over the past eight months and we realize that parents can quickly become overwhelmed with all of the new technology that our students are using both in school and at home in hybrid and remote settings.
Last year a Seesaw was just a piece of playground equipment, Clever was a term used for a great idea, and Google was a search engine on the internet.
We know that our parents are not immersed in the world of education as much as we are, but are often put in a position of needing to support their children when they are learning remotely. In recognition of that, we have created a Parent University webpage on our District website, found here.
On this page, you can learn about our learning platforms Seesaw, Clever and Google Classroom. You can also learn about voice typing, Kami, and find an FAQ and other parent resources.
If you have additional questions or suggestions, please fill out and submit this form. If you need more information on a new learning tool, chances are someone else in our school community does, as well, and we will consider adding it to the Parent University page.
