As a part of Richtol’s Read All Day and author John Gray’s virtual visit, the AMS Library raffled off a Dog Lover’s Basket and as a result, raised $82.50 which will be donated to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society.
Students and staff also collected shoe boxes, towels, toys and pipe cleaners for the shelter. Dan M. won the raffle. AMS Teacher Mrs. Celeste made a beautiful fleece dog blanket, as well. Way to go Algonquin Middle School!
