The Averill Park girls varsity soccer team defeated No. 3 Mohonasen, 1-0, on Monday in the Section II, Class A semifinals.
Gabby Geise scored the only goal of the game for the Warriors, assisted by Merry Gaylord. Michelina Lombardi had seven saves in the net.
No. 2 Averill Park heads to the championship game and takes on No. 1 Queensbury on Friday at Stillwater High School at 7:00 p.m. Tickets must be purchased online, here.
