Recently Grade 8 students Anna Fedorowitz, Riley O’Connell and Zoe Smith completed a Girl Scout Silver Award Project in building a “Faux Fridge” for the AMS Food Pantry Program.
This fake refrigerator will serve as a functional visual center piece of our school’s Food Pantry Program, to remind students, staff and visitors of the need for donations of snacks and kid-friendly food items.
The AMS Faux Fridge was unveiled at our Grade 6 Concert on Tuesday, where the girls also sold Girl Scout Cookies, many of which were donated by audience members to the food pantry program.
