JIMINY PEAK – GRADE 7 TEAM 4 – POSTPONED TO FRIDAY
Due to poor weather conditions expected on Thursday, Team 4 students will now travel to the Jiminy Peak Aerial Adventure Park on FRIDAY, JUNE 10, 2022
All other previously announced details regarding the trip will remain the same.
We look forward to a great day at Jiminy Peak on Friday for our Team 4 students.
A MESSAGE FROM THE NURSE
Students entering grade 7 are required to have a grade level physical and must receive the meningococcal A vaccine. Please contact your child’s physician to schedule an appointment for a physical and vaccination if your child has not yet received it. The physical must be completed after 9/1/21. If your child requires a medication at school, a provider’s order is needed.
Fall sport sign up will begin in July. Each registered athlete will be required to have a physical that will be less than one year old on the first day of practice on file at the health office.
Physicals and immunization documentation may be faxed to the health office @ 518 674 8426 or emailed to the nurse at firstname.lastname@example.org.
GRADE 8 JIMINY PEAK FIELD TRIPS – NEXT WEEK
As a reminder, the Grade 8 Jiminy Peak Field Trips will take place on Monday, June 13 (Team 5) and Tuesday, June 14 (Team 6). We look forward to great trips to Jiminy Peak’s Aerial Adventure Park next week. Thank you.
GRADE 5 BAND, ORCHESTRA, CHORUS RECRUITMENT CONCERT
On Friday, June 10, we will welcome the district’s Grade 5 students for a Band, Orchestra and Chorus concert. The concert will start at approximately 10am and performance groups will rotate through the concert to limit interruptions to the performing students’ schedules. This is always a fun event for our future sixth grade students and a great act of service and performance by our middle school musicians. Thank you for your continued support of our school’s music program.
EXTRA YEARBOOKS AVAILABLE
If you would like to purchase a yearbook for your child please submit $26 (cash only) to the main office in an envelope marked with your child’s name and morning meeting.
As we wind down the school year, it is important that your child remembers to charge their Chromebook each night and bring it to school every day, even on field trip days. If the battery life falls below 20%, the battery has to be sent to our Technology Department to be reseated. If students are charging their Chromebooks every day, this should ensure that their school day and learning is not interrupted.
