Averill Park High School students tested out some Fab Lab projects in the Mezzanine this afternoon. In the Fab Lab, students can work on various projects and machines, including a 3-D printer, a Cricut, and more.
“Students can come in during their study halls, Advisory, before or after school, any free time they have. They just need to sign in and they can use all of the things we have here,” said APHS Library Media Specialist Morgan Park. “There is a lot of fun stuff, both high tech and low tech, for students to use.”
In addition to the machines, there are cabinets full of fun projects, including a Robot Smart Car Kit, Ozobots, VR Goggles, Makey Makey, Piper Computer Building Kits, Air Powered Racer Kits, and much more.
