Congratulations to Averill Park High School Junior Anastazia Marcy and Senior Matt Dangler for earning their Private Pilot’s Licenses through Questar III BOCES’ Aviation Program!
Questar III BOCES’ aviation program offers students a two-year flight training program based at the Donald R. Kline Technical School and area airports. The Federal Aviation Administration (FFA) approved flight program prepares students through both ground and flight knowledge to obtain an FAA-issued Private Pilot Certificate. Students are engaged daily within a ground school training program located at Kline while receiving flight training at area airports. Students have access to flying time with flight instructors and are encouraged to fly outside of school hours.
