Averill Park CSD Community,
This morning, Friday, Sept. 6, 2024, an Averill Park Central School District bus was involved in an accident on NY-43 just before Gettle Road. There were no students on the bus at the time of the incident. In addition to the bus driver, two bus attendants were on the bus.
All APCSD Transportation Department policies are being followed as we navigate this situation.
Thank you to the first responders and emergency personnel who responded quickly to the scene. The safety and well-being of our students and staff members is our top priority.
