Students in Ms. Garrison’s APHS English 11 Regents class recently demonstrated critical thinking and communication skills in a Socratic Circle, while discussing Chinese Immigration and anti-Chinese Sentiment in the United States to complement the book they are currently reading, Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng.
Socratic Circles allow students to have face-to-face conversations and understand different interpretations when breaking down content.
