On Monday, Oct. 14, 2024, several students from Algonquin Middle School took their day off to participate in a joint event with the Albany Symphony Orchestra and the Empire State Youth Orchestra, playing several works in a large event dubbed “Side by Side” at Albany’s MVP Arena!
The students rehearsed with professionals and were part of a massive ensemble that included students from over 50 schools, as well as other community musicians. Bravo to our student musicians! #AP_EveryStudentEveryDay
