While students had the day off on Nov. 1, 2024, Averill Park CSD teachers were in the classrooms at Averill Park High School for professional development titled “AP Transforms 2024”. The day of learning was kicked off by a powerful keynote presentation by Suzanne Dailey, a teacher, author and podcast host residing in Pennsylvania, originally from Western New York. The District had 54 staff members present informative sessions ranging from “10 Tech Hacks to Maximize Teaching and Learning” and “Metalinguistics for Young Minds” to “Improving Math Fact Fluency” and “The Power of Phenomena in Science” and so much more! #AP_EveryStudentEveryDay
