On Nov. 12, 2024, Miller Hill-Sand Lake Elementary School celebrated Veterans Day with a parade featuring veteran family members of MH-SL students and staff. Students lined the sidewalk and waved flags in honor of those who serve/have served. Thanks to the Averill Park Fire Department for leading our parade and SRO Deputy Nikles and the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Department for assisting with traffic control! #AP_EveryStudentEveryDay
