The Averill Park Central School District is hiring full-time and substitute employees for the 2024-25 school year!

FULL TIME:

BUILDING AND GROUNDS

Head Building Maintenance Mechanic–7.5 hours per day, 2nd shift 2:00pm – 10:00pm, 12 months per year (open until filled)
Must meet Civil Service qualifications: Two (2) years of experience as a journeyman in one of the recognized skilled trades OR five (5) years of experience in either general building construction or building trades work in one or more of the standard trades, such as carpentry, plumbing, or electrical

TRANSPORTATION

School Bus Drivers – hours per day vary, 10 month position, starting at $22.05 per hour (open until filled)
School Bus Attendants — hours per day vary, 10 month position, starting at $16.54 per hour (open until filled)

Substitute positions come with flexible schedules and no experience is necessary for many openings. You have the option of joining NYS TRS or ERS as a substitute.
