Two Averill Park High School students, Vivian Savage and Charlie Wilcox, have been selected to have their short stories included in Fright Club: One Dark Night, an anthology organized by the Young Writers organization. This competition challenged participants to craft horror stories of 100 words or less.
Both students are part of Mr. Porter’s Literary Club at APHS. Mr. Porter brought the competition to the Club, challenging students to submit their best work to the national organization. The book is set to be published on April 7, 2025.
