  7. School Budget Vote on...

On Tuesday, May 20, residents of the Averill Park Central School District will vote on a proposed $69.5 million budget for the 2025-26 school year that maintains a rigorous academic curriculum despite rising healthcare costs. The budget includes a 2.41% tax levy, which is at the state’s statutory Property Tax Cap limit.

Voting will take place in the High School Auxiliary Gymnasium from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Absentee ballots are also available to be picked up at the District Office.

In addition to the budget, voters will elect three (3) candidates to the Board of Education and will decide on a bus purchase proposition.
