After 21 years of service, we celebrate the retirement of Yvonne Phillips, Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Superintendent for Business. Yvonne, a lifelong member of the Averill Park community and APHS Class of 1984 graduate, has dedicated her career to supporting our district’s operations.
Throughout her time here, Yvonne has worked alongside fellow alumni, friends, and neighbors—many of whom she’s known since childhood. “It almost feels like coming home,” she shared, reflecting on the connections she’s built with colleagues who have taught, driven, or even fed her own three children.
As she enters retirement, Yvonne looks forward to spending more time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and hopes to enjoy traveling. We thank Yvonne for her dedication and wish her all the best in this next chapter!
