After 19 years of service, Connie McCullen is retiring from Averill Park Central School District.
McCullen said her favorite memories include working at Algonquin Middle School alongside Principal Rob, her coworkers and the students.
“I am going to really miss all of them and my job,” McCullen said. “I enjoyed working and hated to retire this way.”
Looking ahead, McCullen plans to spend time caring for her husband, Bob, with hopes of returning to the district as a substitute in the future.
“Hopefully down the road I will be able to sub at the school and get to see the kids and my coworkers,” she said.
