The Friends of the Miller Hill Playground will host a Boosterthon Fun Run on Oct. 1 at Miller Hill-Sand Lake Elementary School to raise funds for a new playground.
Students will collect pledges per lap, with 100% of proceeds supporting the project. The goal is $200,000 to cover equipment, construction, safety surfacing and landscaping.
Sponsorships range from $500 to $10,000, with recognition on event shirts, plaques and playground signage. Donations can be made online or by mail.
