The Holiday Food and Toy Program is a Kiwanis project in partnership with the Averill Park Central Schools, Hannaford Brothers Market in West Sand Lake along with the Sgt. Walter Adams American Legion Hall (Post 1021) in Sand Lake. Other partners include Walmart #1940 in East Greenbush and the US Marine Corps Toys for Tots program. Averill Park School Counselors and Nurses work with Kiwanis to forward the names of families in need that would like to participate in the Holiday Food and Toy Program.
It is important to note: Counselors/Nurses will only refer the families that complete the sign up form by November 3, 2025 to request to participate in this program. Information is kept confidential, only shared with those assisting with the program.
