Students and staff at APHS were all smiles as they welcomed Taylor, a 10-week-old Standard Poodle/Great Pyrenees mix, to the building. Taylor is currently up for adoption through Homeward Bound Dog Rescue.
The visit was organized by Mrs. Engel, who has fostered an incredible 660 puppies over the past 11 years. She periodically brings foster dogs to APHS to teach students about the joys and rewards of community service.
“Showing kids that lifelong community service can be fun and rewarding is one of the best parts of bringing foster puppies to APHS,” Engel said. “Puppy kisses and all the student smiles are another great part!”
