On Monday, October 13th, five Averill Park High School students — Kate Cleary, Amelia Hicks, Sarah Novick-Toth, Emma Tripp and John Tripp — along with music teacher Mr. Blostein, participated in the Albany Symphony Orchestra and Empire State Youth Orchestra “Side by Side” concert at the MVP Arena.
The event gave students the opportunity to rehearse and perform alongside professional musicians from the Albany Symphony, offering a valuable experience to grow their musical skills and collaborate within a large ensemble.
