  7. 49 Students Inducted into...

Averill Park High School is proud to announce the induction of 49 students into the National Honor Society (NHS). Membership in the NHS is one of the highest honors a high school student can achieve, recognizing excellence in scholarship, leadership, service and character.

These students have demonstrated a strong commitment to their academics and community, embodying the values that define the Averill Park Central School District. Their achievement reflects not only individual dedication but also the support of families, teachers and staff who encourage excellence every day.

This year’s ceremony was led by first-time NHS adviser Gabe Smith, who expressed his pride in the inductees.

“It was an honor to welcome such a talented and motivated group of students into the National Honor Society,” Smith said. “Their leadership and commitment to service truly make our school and community stronger.”

The district extends its congratulations to all of the new NHS members and thanks Mr. Smith for his dedication in guiding this outstanding group of student leaders.
