Averill Park High School students Valentino Strano and Eva Santacroce were recognized for their performances in the Christmas Chorale during CBS 6 Melodies of Christmas at Proctors. Page 11 of the event program included a special acknowledgment thanking choral director Leslie Eliashuk and Principal Heath Quiles for their support. Now in its 46th year, the annual holiday concert features the ESYO Symphony Orchestra, the Melodies Chorale and special guests, with net proceeds benefiting the Melodies Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders at Albany Med. To date, the event has raised nearly $10 million in support of pediatric cancer care.
