The Averill Park High School Robotics Team had an exceptional weekend of competition at the Adirondack VEX V5 Push Back Qualifier Details hosted by Queensbury High School on February 7, 2026.
- 5111A finished 5th overall in the qualifying matches with an impressive 6–1–0 record, earning a spot in the elimination rounds. The 5111A team was led by Parker Dupuis, Roy Wajda, Michael Hughes, and Xander Ngin.
- Team 5111E, consisting of Edward Hughes, Lucas Wong, and Parker Mereness, also competed and finished in 11th place overall.
Looking Ahead: New York State VEX Championships
With a successful showing at Queensbury, the Averill Park Robotics Team now turns its focus to the 13th Annual Northern New York State VEX V5 High School Championships, scheduled for March 4, 2026, at the SRC Arena & Events Center in Syracuse, New York.
