Five Averill Park High School students recently attended the annual Women in Law Symposium with chaperone Ms. Kaitlyn Rosemarino. The program, organized by the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York and the Capital District Women’s Bar Association, connects high school students with women working in the legal profession. During the event, students heard from a panel of professionals including judges, attorneys, mediators, legislators and court staff who shared their career journeys and experiences in the legal field. The program aims to introduce students to the wide range of careers in law while supporting the advancement of women in the profession.
