The Averill Park girls wrestling team was honored with the Capital District Wrestling Officials Association Sportsmanship Award, recognizing the team’s respect for opponents, officials and the sport.
Multiple Golden Knights also received Suburban Council honors:
Girls Bowling: Eighth-grader Khloee Scifo was named a Suburban Council Girls Bowling Third Team All-Star.
Boys Bowling: Aayden Tonnochy was named a Suburban Council Boys Bowling Third Team All-Star.
Girls Wrestling: Isabel Moore earned Suburban Council Second Team All-Star recognition.
Boys Wrestling: Jacob Morgans was named a Suburban Council Second Team All-Star.
Boys Basketball: Tyler Bradley was named a Suburban Council Third Team All-Star.
Girls Basketball: Shea Kelly was recognized as the Section 2 Girls Basketball Scholar-Athlete.
