The Averill Park High School vocal music program celebrated Music in Our Schools Month with its annual concert, held last night. The performance featured nine pieces showcasing the talent, dedication and range of student vocalists while giving students the opportunity to perform for family, friends and the school community. Music in Our Schools Month is a nationwide celebration that recognizes the impact of music education and the important role it plays in student learning and growth.
