As part of its Women’s Wednesday series throughout March, APHS welcomed women-owned businesses, giving students the opportunity to learn directly from local entrepreneurs. Paula Heller of Pizza 43, Jessie Weatherwax of Jessie Casey Photo, Paula Patterson of The Pony Show and First and Adams, and Elissa Wehnau of Unbreakable Nutrition shared their experiences, insights and advice on starting and running their own businesses. The series continues to connect students with professionals and highlight a range of career paths while celebrating Women’s History Month.
