  7. Second Grade Students Take...

Second grade students recently participated in a Rainbow STEM challenge that combined engineering and math in a fun, hands-on way. Using play dough and pipe cleaners, students designed and built bridges to support a Dixie cup filled with as many “gold coins” as possible, testing their creativity and problem-solving skills.

In addition to the engineering challenge, students also practiced graphing by sorting and analyzing Lucky Charms. The activities provided an engaging way for students to apply their learning while having fun in the classroom.
