Last week, the 8th grade band and orchestra students visited the high school ensembles, where the students worked with their high school peers in a combined rehearsal, followed by student-led sectionals. Students were engaged and focused, had an opportunity to speak candidly with the high school students about their experiences, and an opportunity to connect on multiple levels. A wonderful way to wrap up “Music In Our Schools” month.
