Teacher of the Visually Impaired, Kara Pederson, recently worked with Tracy Ferlito and Kelly Ryan’s students to introduce adaptive gaming through a partnership with the AbleGamers Charity. The Nintendo Switch and games are school-owned, and the organization donated adaptive controllers designed for individuals who may not be able to use traditional game controllers, allowing students to play alongside their peers. Mr. Hladun also visited to observe the experience.
