APHS students recently had the opportunity to explore careers in commercial driving and transportation during a visit from Teamsters Local 294 during which they provided students with an interactive look at workforce opportunities connected to CDL certification and commercial transportation careers.
Representatives brought a mobile training center to campus, featuring a commercial driver’s license (CDL) simulator that allowed students to experience aspects of professional driver training firsthand. CTE students and other interested students visited the training center throughout the day to learn more about career pathways in transportation and skilled trades.
