Averill Park High School students exceeded New York State averages across every Advanced Placement (AP) course offered during the 2025-26 school year.
The results reflect the hard work of students and teachers, and the District’s continued commitment to providing rigorous academic opportunities that prepare students for college and careers.
Students achieved a 100 percent pass rate (earning a score of 3 or higher) in seven AP courses, including AP Drawing, AP 2D Art & Design, AP Biology, AP Physics C: Electricity & Magnetism, AP Physics: Mechanics, AP English Language Arts 12, and AP French Language & Culture.
In every subject area, Averill Park High School students met or exceeded the statewide average for students earning a score of 3 or higher. APHS results included:
- AP Drawing – 100% (81% state average)
- 2D Art & Design – 100% (84%)
- AP Bio – 100% (75%)
- AP Physics – 81% (79%)
- AP Physics C: Electricity & Magnetism – 100% (76%)
- AP Physics: Mechanics – 100% (74%)
- AP Calc BC – 83% (82%)
- AP Calc AB Sub Score – 96% (88%)
- AP ELA 11 – 86% (73%)
- AP ELA 12 – 100% (77%)
- AP US History – 88% (77%)
- APGAP – 90% (78%)
- French Language & Culture – 100% (73%)
Advanced Placement courses are college-level classes offered in high school through the College Board. The District congratulates all students and staff members whose commitment and hard work contributed to this year’s outstanding AP exam results.
