The Averill Park Central School District is proud to announce that Averill Park High School had a 98% graduation rate for the 2025-26 school year, exceeding the New York State average of 85%.
“The graduation rate represents the hard work and dedication of our students, families, faculty, staff, administration, and board of education,” said Dr. James Franchini, Superintendent of Schools. “Together, these people embody our mission of meeting the needs of and creating opportunities for every student every day and I could not be more proud to be a part of such a special community.”
Members of the Class of 2026 will continue their individual journeys in a variety of post-secondary pathways, including four-year colleges and universities, community colleges, technical and trade programs, military service, and direct entry into the workforce.
The 98% graduation rate reflects Averill Park High School’s focus on providing rigorous academic opportunities, comprehensive student support services, career and technical education pathways, extracurricular involvement, and individualized guidance to help every student achieve their goals.
