As the 2026-27 school year kicks off, we would like to share important information regarding school tax payments.
To be considered on time, payments sent by mail must be postmarked no later than September 30. Under New York State regulations, payments postmarked after September 30 must be assessed a penalty. The District does not have the authority to waive these penalties.
If you are mailing your payment close to the September 30 deadline, we strongly encourage you to bring your envelope directly to the Post Office and ask that it be postmarked at the time you drop it off. This can help avoid any confusion about when your payment was mailed.
