School buildings and grounds are maintained primarily for educational purposes and secondarily for the recreation of school children and the community in general. All utilization of school facilities and grounds shall be in compliance with the requirements of Education Law, Section 414. Public use of school facilities may take place during or after school hours only if, in the judgment of the Building Principal or Director of Safety, Health and PE, the proposed use will not be disruptive to normal school operations.  Please review the full policy and guidelines below.

Board of Education Policy 1500 – Public Use of Facilities and Grounds

 Beginning July 1, 2025, the district will implement a custodial fee of $50 per hour for the use of school facilities on weekends and weekdays when schools are closed. This fee will apply to all community organizations and groups using district buildings during these times.

This change is necessary to help offset the increasing costs associated with staffing and maintaining our facilities during non-school hours. The fee will be based on the actual time custodial staff are required to be on-site to support and clean up after your event.
