• Experience in school setting preferred

● Processes registration for new student enrollment and reviews all forms for completion, eligibility and accuracy. Communicates with families throughout the registration process.
● Census and PreK/Kindergarten coordinator – receives all census information on children living in the district and maintains a database. Sends registration information for children who have reached school age and handles all registration for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten.
● Enters student information into school database (schooltool), which includes close contact with each school, CSE and Transportation to be sure information is accurate.
● Prepares monthly reports for Assistant Superintendent and Principals to track enrollment figures for each school and assists with school assignment.
● Processes address changes for all students, including tracking students who may have moved out of the district and advising them of school policy on residency. Resolves issues and/or takes action to enforce school policies.
● Homeless liaison – prepares reports for the state regarding the district’s status on homeless students.
● Record Maintenance: Oversee the scanning and digital archiving of all student records, managing the end-of-year transfer of transcripts, immunizations, and report cards.
● Supports UPK and Kindergarten screening process including scheduling and procuring necessary supplies.
