Athletics Hall of Fame

The Averill Park Athletic Department, in conjunction with the Averill Park Athletic Booster Club, is pleased to announce the establishment of the Averill Park Athletic Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame will recognize former athletes, coaches, teams, and contributors who have made significant contributions to the Averill Park athletic program through their service, performance, dedication, commitment, and accomplishment.

The Averill Park Athletic Booster Club was formed several years ago by community members who wanted to give back to the athletic department. In co-sponsoring this event, the Averill Park Athletic Booster Club will aid and assist the athletic department.

Any member of the public can nominate an athlete, coach, team (not eligible until 2022), or contributor for induction assuming the criteria as outlined in the guidelines are met.

The nomination period will run from September 15th through November 15th. The first induction ceremony and dinner was held in the spring of 2018.

The 2025 induction ceremony and dinner will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025 at Old Daley on Crooked Lake.
